To be completely honest, it took me a little while to settle into this one. It started off a bit slow for me, and I didn't really feel fully hooked until around the 11th chapter. But once the story clicked, I was totally invested. Watching Claudia and Sebastian navigate their new tension filled work romance was just great. Sebastian is the classic grumpy, controlling boss, and seeing him slowly unravel because of Claudia’s talent and stubbornness was incredibly satisfying.
The banter between them was sharp and funny. By the time I reached the end, I was all in. The payoff was well worth the buildup, and as usual, Missy delivered the heat and the heart that I have come to love in her books.

If you enjoy a good workplace romance with plenty of chemistry, this is definitely a must read. I really loved it!

Sebastian is somewhat of a tyrant in the kitchen but for Claudia he is slowly, slowly giving up that intense control. But Claudia had something to prove to herself, not just him.

I liked the writing, very easy read and it was a quick book. The characters were spicy, snarky and full of vim. Such a pleasure that aspect is what I really enjoy.

I thoroughly enjoyed book 2 of the Vegas series. I have to say, I live vicariously through Missy's writing, and this one did not disappoint. Vegas is a great setting and I cannot wait for book #3. My only complaint is that I never want the books to end. Thank goodness there is more to come from Vegas!

What she doesn't expect is to land in the kitchen of Sebastian Rossi, a talented but frustratingly stubborn chef who isn't exactly thrilled about the changes being forced on his restaurant.
The chemistry between Claudia and Sebastian is impossible to ignore. Both are passionate, driven, and fiercely dedicated to their craft, which makes every interaction feel charged with tension. Their banter, competitiveness, and shared work ethic kept me invested from the very beginning. Watching them go from butting heads to something much deeper was incredibly satisfying.
What I enjoyed most was that this story offered more than just romance. There are career ambitions, personal growth, family dynamics, and challenges that force both characters to confront what they really want out of life. This book grabbed my attention from the beginning and held it the entire way through. The back and forth push/pull between Claudia and Sebastian is addictive. Their chemistry is off the charts and simply delicious!!! Another homerun from Missy Walker!

Well cook up an egg and call me an omelette. A perfect sequel in the Vegas series. It might be a slow burn, but this book is hot and well done. The character growth from book one is balanced carefully with the introduction of the new leading lovers. Book one was seasoned with hints of something more going on in Vegas, and the truth is slowly revealed, in between some necessary kissing.

Set in a Vegas kitchen, the process, flavours and taste of the food are as deliciously described as the lovers.

Burning Rivalry is another five star read from Missy Walker. The chemistry between Claudia and Sebastian practically jumped off the page, and I loved the push and pull between them. They hated each other just enough to make every interaction entertaining, yet could not stay away from one another. Their inner thoughts added so much depth to the story, and when they finally stopped fighting what was right in front of them, everything fell into place perfectly. A fantastic enemies to lovers romance that kept me hooked from beginning to end.

I just finished "Burning Rivalry," and it is another fantastic addition to the Elite Men of Las Vegas series.

It is wonderful how you make the reader connect with your characters, regardless of how rough their personalities may be. I enjoyed the dynamic between Sebastian, who is so set in his ways, and Claudia, with her constant drive for innovation in her recipes. Seeing them navigate their initial friction and obvious attraction while managing a busy kitchen and investigating the sabotage at the new restaurant was truly engaging.
