This book was definitely a wild ride and had me hooked right from the beginning. I wanted to both strangle and hug Grayson and completely loved Scarlet for being a headstrong person who is not afraid to go after what she wants. There were some interesting plot twists and some jaw dropping moments which makes this book a great read.
I loved every second of it.

4.5⭐️. Gosh I loved this story. I love that Grayson saw right through his childhood friends lie. The way Grayson and Scarlet tried to not act on the attraction was amazing. Grayson was a man that women dream of. He went to war for her. He defended her when she thought the world was against her. He was the definition of “burn the world down for you” anddddd “if he wanted to he would”… I loved this book.

This is the third book in the Elite Men of Las Vegas series. Grayson is hired by his estranged childhood friend to find Scarlet who is on the run. Grayson chooses to protect her rather than give up her whereabouts. As they battle their demons and difficult pasts - and a dangerous enemy - we see them give into their growing attraction. I loved the mix of drama and heat.

My only complaint was that I would have loved to see more interaction and banter between Grayson and his friends. In all of Missy’s Elite Men series of books, it’s always fun seeing the guys together as a group! Here’s hoping we’ll see more in the remaining books in the series.

After escaping from her abuser, Scarlet comes face to face with Grayson who was sent to bring her back. The attraction is instant and the secrets run deep. This is a fast paced, easy to read good time and the spice is perfectly spicing 🔥🌶️🔥

Grayson and Scarlet, where do I begin?…what a brilliant book!
This story took me on an emotional roller coaster ride right from the beginning to the end. Grayson may came across as grumpy and bossy, Scarlet is equally head strong at times too. When they first met Scarlet was weary of Grayson but as they were forced to stay and spend time together things changed and there was undeniable chemistry between them. He doesn’t think he is worthy or deserving of her love, however he will do anything to keep Scarlet safe. This story had it all..will they get together? will he keep her safe?
Keep the tissues handy and enjoy the ride, it’s definitely worth it.
I was thrilled to chosen as part of the ARC team for this book and Missy Walker certainly didn’t disappoint, another fabulous book, I highly recommend it

I had pleasure of reading an ARC for Savage Protector. Hard to put words how much I liked this book….JUST WOW!! This book has all the feels. So many emotions. I couldn’t help but fall in love with Grayson, the twists I didn’t see coming (OMG) had me up all night reading. Yes, I CRIED!! Not many books bring me there but Grayson & Scarlett’s story did. Ugh, Chapter 11 absolutely gutted me. Grayson & Scarlett are perfect for each other and their HEA will leave your heart full. This book is an easy read that you will not be able to put down. Enjoy every page!! Such a good series. Just when you take a deep breath…Jackson!!

Again Missy did not disappoint. It's got all the feels. From start to finish it had me hook line and sinker. Very hot and steamy. Tho Sebastian and Claudia have their issues at the beginning the back and forth between them is amazing and funny. Overall amazing read.

While the start of the book was a bit slower than expected once the story picked up it was amazing. Sebastian and Claudia have passion for each other as well as the individual restaurant jobs!

Burning Rivalry is the second book in the Elite Men of Las Vegas series and tells the story of Claudia and Sebastian. This was one of the most delicious enemies-to-lovers books I’ve read in a while. I absolutely love it when he falls first and falls hard!

I didn’t really like Sebastian at the beginning of the book, but once I got to know his reasoning and saw how deeply he fell for Claudia, I completely fell in love with him.

This was definitely a slow burn, but the tension between the determined Claudia and the grumpy Sebastian was so palpable. Their constant push and pull was so good, and when the spice finally hit, it only got better and better.

I really think it’s not possible for Missy to write a book that I don’t like… I devoured this book, couldn’t put it down, and I already can’t wait for the next book!

This is the second book in this impressive series, and this is Claudia and Sebastian’s story.

Claudia is stubborn, and is a talented pastry chef, who refuses to be intimidated by Sebastian, her grumpy, cold, arrogant, emotionally guarded, and controlling boss. The sparks fly between these two, and Sebastian becomes protective and obsessed with Claudia, when he finally realizes his feeling for her.

This is a beautifully written, slow burn, with tension, boss / employee, workplace romance, obsession, enemies / lovers, opposites attract, challenges, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining and addictive page turner.

I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Burning Rivalry has it all. The passion and determination of the main characters, Claudia and Sebastian, highlight how easily misinterpretation can happen. This book had me angry on their behalf, laughing out loud, and sighing with satisfaction. A great second book in what's shaping up to be a fantastic series. Well worth the read.

To be completely honest, it took me a little while to settle into this one. It started off a bit slow for me, and I didn't really feel fully hooked until around the 11th chapter. But once the story clicked, I was totally invested. Watching Claudia and Sebastian navigate their new tension filled work romance was just great. Sebastian is the classic grumpy, controlling boss, and seeing him slowly unravel because of Claudia’s talent and stubbornness was incredibly satisfying.
The banter between them was sharp and funny. By the time I reached the end, I was all in. The payoff was well worth the buildup, and as usual, Missy delivered the heat and the heart that I have come to love in her books.

If you enjoy a good workplace romance with plenty of chemistry, this is definitely a must read. I really loved it!

Sebastian and Claudia made me laugh. So much spark and friction but so much romantic intention.

So well done. I enjoyed the whole experience. It was fun but also intense.

Sebastian is somewhat of a tyrant in the kitchen but for Claudia he is slowly, slowly giving up that intense control. But Claudia had something to prove to herself, not just him.

I liked the writing, very easy read and it was a quick book. The characters were spicy, snarky and full of vim. Such a pleasure that aspect is what I really enjoy.
